Terms of Service

Effective 20 September 2026 · Breath Prayers is provided by Better Web International Limited (“we”, “us”).

Draft for review: check the prices below against App Store Connect before this page is linked from the app or the App Store.

The service

Breath Prayers is an iOS app for praying short prayers drawn from Scripture in rhythm with your breathing, with reminders and an optional “pray before you scroll” feature. By using the app you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Free use and Premium

You can use Breath Prayers without paying: one prayer session a day, the starter library, and reminders. Premium unlocks unlimited sessions, creating your own prayers, and pray before you scroll.

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription bought through Apple's App Store:

Prices are shown in your local currency in the App Store and may vary by country. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings under your Apple ID; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms.

Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app, and where it conflicts with these terms, it prevails for matters concerning the App Store.

Your account

The app creates a guest account when you begin. You may save it by linking Apple, Google or an email address. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe. You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app or by contacting us; deletion is permanent and removes your saved data.

Not medical advice

Breath Prayers is a devotional and relaxation aid, not medical treatment. Breathe gently and never to the point of strain. If you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or short of breath, return to normal breathing and rest. If you are pregnant or have a heart or breathing condition, high blood pressure, or a history of panic attacks, check with your doctor before using paced breathing. Never use the app while driving or in any situation that needs your full attention.

Scripture

Prayers are drawn from the Berean Standard Bible, which is in the public domain. Prayers you create in the app are yours; you give us a licence to store and display them to you.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app: no reverse engineering, no attempts to bypass the subscription, no interference with the service, and no use that breaks the law.

Our content

The app, its name, artwork and design belong to Better Web International Limited. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control.

Availability and changes

We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms. If a change is material we will say so in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

Liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under New Zealand law or the law of your country of residence.

Governing law

Better Web International Limited is a New Zealand company, and these terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, with its courts having jurisdiction, without affecting your consumer rights elsewhere. Your purchase through the App Store is also subject to Apple's terms, as set out above.
