Common questions

I subscribed, but the app says I'm on the free plan.
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchases, or open any paywall and tap Restore. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID that bought the subscription.

How do I cancel the free trial or my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Breath Prayers. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

My reminders aren't arriving.
Check that notifications are allowed for Breath Prayers in iPhone Settings, and that the reminder is switched on in the app's Settings. Focus modes and Do Not Disturb can also hold them back.

Pray before you scroll asks for Screen Time access. What does it see?
Nothing about you. iOS keeps the apps you choose as tokens our app cannot read, and they never leave your phone. If you tapped Don't Allow by mistake, open the feature again in Settings and iOS will ask once more.

I got a new phone. Where did my prayers go?
If you saved your plan with Apple, Google or email, sign in from the front door with the same method and everything returns. If you used the app as a guest without saving, your progress lived on the old phone only.

Signing in brought back an old account.
That sign-in method already had an account, so the app signed into it. If you'd rather keep the newer one, email us and we can help.

How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. That removes your account and everything stored under it. You can also email us from the address you signed in with and we will do it for you.

Is paced breathing safe for me?
Breath Prayers is a devotional aid, not medical treatment. Breathe gently and never to the point of strain. If you are pregnant or have a heart or breathing condition, high blood pressure, or a history of panic attacks, check with your doctor first. If you feel dizzy or short of breath, stop and breathe normally.
